Taylor Swift has made a big announcement at her recent concert in Nashville. The pop icon revealed that she’ll be releasing a re-recorded version of her 2010 album Speak Now. This album marks the third of her albums that she has re-recorded so far, following the success of her album Fearless (Taylor’s Version) released earlier this year.

During her concert, Taylor Swift played “Sparks Fly,” the fifth single from the Speak Now album, and announced the upcoming release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) to the crowd. The cover art for the album was revealed on screens at the Nissan Stadium, where the concert was held.

The highly anticipated re-recording of the Speak Now album is set to be released on July 7. Fans will be delighted to know that the album will contain 22 tracks, including six previously unreleased songs from the vault.

In a message shared to her Instagram, Taylor Swift spoke about the process of re-recording Speak Now. She explained that she first made the album when she was between the ages of 18 and 20, completely self-written. The songs from this album were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness. She also shared that she loves this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying, crashing, and living to speak about it.

The announcement of the re-recording of Speak Now has been met with great enthusiasm from fans all over the world. Taylor Swift has been vocal about her reasons for re-recording her past albums. She wants to regain control of her original music and ensure that she is the one who benefits from it. With her immense talent, there is no doubt that the re-recorded version of Speak Now will be a success and continue to solidify her place as a pop icon.
